Easter Fun

And what a Glorious Morning it was..we got up nice and early as the sun was coming over the clouds, a reminder for the day that 'He is Risen'!

It was a some what stressful morning seeing as we had to be at church early for helping serving for me, Singing practice for Aaron and then church service! So worth it it was!

All ready to go in their Easter attire..my boy apparently not wanting to be up this early!

Rain Drops

Well today was probably a more or less typical April day..wet and not very warm! It was the kind of day that made me want to dress comfy (also because I'm pregnant) and work on a sewing project.

Blessings

We pray for blessings

We pray for peace

Comfort for family, protection while we sleep

We pray for healing, for prosperity

We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

All the while, You hear each spoken need

Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things

What if Your healing comes through tears

What if the thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

We pray for wisdom

When friends betray us

When darkness seems to win

We know the pain reminds this heart

That this is not, this is not our home

What if my greatest disappointments

Or the aching of this life

Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy

What if trials of this life

The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

Are your mercies in disguise

I Choose Praise..

Well This week has been a busy one, and has varied in weather & tempature quite a bit! Monday started with the normal cleaning and laundry and ended with doctors and grocery shopping with the hubby! Tuesday and wednesday were spent enjoying the some what warmer weather with friends..thursday..cleaning with a friend to earn some extra money, visiting a new Baby & Mom in the hospital and ending the day with Zumba!
I wasn't good about getting alot of pictures this week but here is a cute one i took of the girls enjoying a book!

Today is also April 1st and no joke it's snowing piles out!

What was starting to look like spring  might show it's self has turned into this..

But despite what we might want or think should be God knows best and theres some reason (that we may not know) for this snow to be here! So instead of worry about why the white stuff is making an appearence, i choose to Praise God for this day and enjoy it with my kids and be thankful that we have this day on earth! And to look on the bright side and remember that it's here today but won't take long to melt from here..spring must come at some point!

So we started the morning making yummy blueberry muffins..i haven't had the time or want to bake in a long time so these hit the spot just right!
