Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving this year was spent at our house with my family and was simple yet enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoy hosting get togethers of all sorts and long for the day we have a bigger house to be able to do even more!

Yummy Oreo Turkeys!

Today my kids and I put together these creations, Oreo Turkeys! They are a little tricky to stick all together (especially with kids at age 2 & 3) but with a little help we did it.

 Tyra proud of her turkey!

 Asher and his turkey!

My kids aren't big into pies so these will be there dessert treat on Thanksgiving Day!

Pies are all made to! Bring on Thanksgiving!

and yes i'm already getting prepared for the next holiday, Christmas cards are ready to be mailed, but we'll wait a couple weeks ;)

This Thanksgiving I am very Thankful and feel very Blessed! God continues to take care of our every need; in His time ;)

Running Fun..

Today i ran in the Thankful Pumpkin 5k! It was a tad bit cold, but an over-all beautiful day.
I am so thankful for the opportunities I've had to run this year! It has been an awesome stress reliever and a great work out! This race i even won a pumpkin pie for finishing 1st in my
age group after the overall women's winner, i was excited ;)

I finished with a time of 24:47

Enjoy it while you can!

Our crazy New England weather brought 2 ft of snow in October and warm spring weather in November! Oh the joys.. So why not take an adventure to Papa & Grandma's farm! We didn't get to make trips like this to much this summer because of just having a baby and all, but now that Trace is almost 5 months old it was perfect! The kids love animals so feeding the horses hay and giving them a good brush down, sure is fun to them. I'm thankful to whoever created rain boots, with all the snow melting, they are a must have here. We are grateful for this weather, if only we could say that, that lil taste of snow was our winter and this is spring..hah it hasn't even begun! But this is the day that the Lord hath made, and i will rejoice and be glad in it!
